I am the candidate for the FUTURE. Running a technology company based in Kingsport, I think Kingsport needs to be aligned with the future. I'd like to bring my forward-looking perspective to the BMA that is helping Kingsport plan prepare to be THE Model City of the future. The goal is to help the city align itself for success as we move forward and be the best place to live for a balanced lifestyle of the future.
Before even picking up a petition to be on the Ballot I did a lot of pondering about what and why. Running on a single issue isn't what I'm about. I think a city faces many challenges that span numerous topics and smart steps forward in each area will lead to better outcomes. Any leader needs a foundation to fall back on for subjects or topics they might need to make a decision on. (Even if they are not experts or well studied in that area). For this reason, I created a few questions I should bounce the topic or concern against.
This is my Aldermanic Litmus Test that should guide any candidate towards an answer.

Q2: Will this hurt or damage our Environment or Economy?
Q3: Is this Legal, Moral, and Ethical?
Q4: Do the economics work for the city now and in the future?
